  • Conformation

  • Disposition

  • Color Variety

  • Genetic Vigor

As world-class studs have become so expensive, we have further increased the variety of our bloodlines by co-owning top males.  We offer tremendous color diversity in a full range of Bolivian, Chilean, and Peruvian bloodlines.

There are considerable advantages when you purchase from Rocky Run Alpacas, whether stud services or herdsire sales.  The quality of our male alpacas is evident.  You can see the perfect carriage, correct leg placement, and abundant soft fiber that comes from proven stud power.  But, there are significant intangibles as well.  You reap the benefits inherent from one of the older, more experienced breeding programs on the East Coast.  Our herdsires "service what we sell."
